If you're working, visiting family, or passing through Theodore, our RV park near Theodore, Alabama sits about 15 miles east on Dauphin Island Parkway, roughly a 20 minute drive. That's close enough to run over to Bellingrath Gardens or the industrial corridor off Rangeline Road in the morning and be back at your site by early afternoon, without parking your rig anywhere near highway noise.

Southwood RV Park is a small, quiet place with trees around the sites and neighbors who wave. Every site is a standard RV site with full hookups, so you can settle in and stay a night, a week, or a season. The WiFi is strong enough for video calls and streaming, and there's laundry on site so you're not hunting for a laundromat in an unfamiliar town. The clubhouse gives you a spot to sit down out of the heat, and the dog park means your travel companion gets to stretch out too.

Great place to stay and affordable the owners are really nice. They came out and met me at the gate and showed me where to park my RV and put my car hauler at very friendly people and great Wi-Fi and not far from the beach.

One of the best RV parks I’ve stayed at. It’s very peaceful, the management is friendly and well organized, and the neighbors are pleasant. It’s an excellent place to stay. I hope to come back someday because the park was truly beautiful.

This is a very nice campground. The camp host met us at the front to escort us to our site. The site was nice with trees all around. It is off the freeway and very quiet.
