My husband and I have stayed here for months now. The other day we opened our door and a turtle was outside our steps. This has been a peaceful place to stay. We feel tucked away from the hussles of life and have enjoyed God's beauty. Very quiet. We are at the foot of Dog River and have enjoyed access to boating, great restaurants and beautiful sunrises and sunsets on Mobile Bay and Dog River. The new owners are awesome. They make you feel welcomed. Come and enjoy.

“This place is the perfect hideaway near Dog River. I love fact it’s within walking distance to the water with great waterfront restaurants, too. Spacious lots and very peaceful. Completely renovated with onsite laundry and some pretty landscaping. Only a 20-25 minute drive to the beach, as well. The owner is absolutely awesome. I highly recommend this place. I love it.”

“We moved into South Wood RV Park July 3rd and have been enjoying it since. I work a lot and enjoy the quiet when I get off work. The spaces are large so you get you're space, it’s not cramped up like a lot of parks. They have nice new washers and dryers and if you like to walk it's not far from the water. There is also water front bars and restaurants within a mile and a marina. Over all a cool, quiet place.”
